Clint Drieberg Appointed Programme Director of Ireland’s Classic Hits Radio

Clint Drieberg has been appointed to the position of Programme Director at Ireland’s multicity station, Classic Hits Radio.

Drieberg has been Assistant Programme Director / Executive Producer and, more recently, Content Controller, at sister station, Radio Nova, since 2015, where the station has grown to become the number one music radio station in Dublin. He will take up the role as Programme Director at Classic Hits in October until his planned return to Australia at the end of the year. The radio station intends to commence a recruitment drive to appoint a Content Director in the near future.

Ireland’s Classic Hits Radio is one of the largest commercial broadcasters in the country, with 370,000 listeners as per the most recent JNLR *. The station is owned by Bay Broadcasting.

Chief Executive Kevin Branigan said, “Clint is a very impressive programmer and producer. The appointment happens as Liam Thompson steps down from the role of PD with the station to take up a role with Bauer Media Ireland.

Ireland’s Classic Hits Radio is the only multicity radio service in Ireland and broadcasts to nice of the most-populated counties including Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Kildare, Meath, Wicklow & Clare on FM as well as nationwide via smart speaker, the Radio Player and the station’s website and mobile app.
